Vacuum Insulated

Choose high-quality vacuum insulation for keeping drinks chilled

The difference between preserving beverages in a cold or hot state from the external ambient temperature is down to insulation in the form of a barrier between two surfaces much like insulation works inside the cavity of walls for people’s homes.  the key to good performance in this respect with water bottles is insulation that is light and effective. Old style insulation used to be in the form of foam between two layers of the metal bottle or even plastic bottle, this problem with this was it added extra weight and manufacturing costs to the end product, and in actual fact it just wasn’t that effective over a simple air gap created by using a double walled construction.

The insulated metal is normally made from stainless steel and the interior of the EX-600ml is made from 18/8 or also known as 304 for grade stainless steel which means no leaching or flavors will occur keeping the bottle and material in a neutral taste.

The EX-600ml has an excellent insulation performance if you are looking for a portable and lightweight travel water bottle that can be easily used for camping, hiking or for any outdoor use.

The image here shows test that were run using 5 degrees Celcius chilled water and 4 regular sized ice cubes in an ambient test temperature of 20 degrees C.

The reading of 1 degrees C is at 8 hours after the vacuum flask was sealed with the chilled water.  You will find that drinks will be much better insulated if you use pre-chilled water and additional ice cubes the water temperature will actually drop from 5 degrees C which is the average refrigerated temperature to well below 2-3 Degrees C for several hours as the Ice will stay in it’s frozen state which then lowers the whole temperature inside the thermal water bottle.  A full 24 hours chilled drinks can be achieved under 20 Degrees outside or room temperature.
